QAA (Quality assurance agreement)

Contract between customer and supplier that settles all quality assurance measures for future deliveries. Its goal is to ensure the required quality of the products. Special requirements of the production process and product approval procedure are defined in the QAA. 
 

QVP (Advanced Quality Planning)

Counterpart of the VDA (VDA 6.1/VDA 4.3) to the APQP.

Quality Gates (also Q-Gates, Gateways, synchro points, Q-Checks)

Milestones in connection with the execution of a development project where the release of the next project step will be decided based on previously defined quality criteria.
